It's should almost be holiday in Great Britain and Europe -- the day the tickets for the Glastonbury Festival go on sale to buy. We're almost there now (the official on sale ticket date is Oct. 4), and here's what you need to to know buy Glastonbury Festival tickets for 2016.
First off - you need to register for tickets. It’s fairly easy and involves filling out a short form and supplying a photo, then you’ll be able to buy Glastonbury tickets. The registration happens to prevent people from buying large amounts of tickets to resell at a bigger price, often called ticket touting.
After registration, your on your way! You should know that the festival is HUGE and that it often sells out in literally minutes. Don’t despair, you have as much of a chance as anybody elese, so jump in the queue and see what happens!
The Glastonbury Festival has been around for over 35 years. Officially known as the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, it has theatre, circus, cabaret and community. The official dates for Glastonbury Festival 2016 are June 22 - 26. Look for the Glastonbury Festival lineup to be announced at a later time -- they might drop a few headliners early, but the bulk of the lineup will be announced sometime in 2016.
