Join the Collective. Spacelab is looking for contributors and staff
writers to be part of the Spacelab Research
Staff. If you're a writer, love music, or just
want to sound off in the music community, this
is your chance.
If you like writing about music and have an opinion, this is for you. Review the latest music releases or do up feature pieces. If you're going to a festival this year, we can give you space for your review, photos and video of your experience. The same goes for regular live shows. Outside the USA? No problem. Spacelab is a GLOBAL happening.
It's preferred you contribute
in an ongoing basis, as in
once a week or once a month. It's a great opportunity to get experience
for your writing portfolio or resume, and you can get
access to free music, free shows, and get published
in an online media magazine. Feel free to submit one-off
pieces too.
Here's what we need from you: send an email
to staff [at] thespacelab.tv with background
about you; examples of writing you've done for other publications, i.e.
a review of an album, show, or a music news
piece you've written (mention "ATTN Contributors" in the subject line). If you haven't been published before, send a review of a current album (i.e. upcoming release or released in the last 4-6 weeks). You should have
a reasonable knowledge of indie, alternative,
electronic music and be interested in writing. Don't let the fact that you haven't been published before keep you from submitting. If you have a blog and have been workin' that, get in touch.
