Influences of jazz, big beat, electronic, hip-hop
and a general sense of crazy frenticness. This is
super-lively and has tons of energy. Its like
a jazz band that discovered electronic and drum &
bass, and somehow all that elecricity has transmorphed
itself into spazzy beats and crazy chaos. Its
fun too. It sounds like its fun to play.
A noisy tornado cavalcade of sound spiraling into
a vortex. Seriously. You might need to take a nap
or something after you listen to this, itll
wear you out. You should listen on bassy speakers,
the whole album is full of thick, penetrating bass.
The only negative thing I have to say here is in
regards to the second track, Smile Around the Face.
It sounds like Mariah Carey on acid and she
got lost in the tornado of sound, only to come spiraling
back again and again in high-pitched vocal outbursts.
The music itself is kinda pop fodder. This is a radio-friendly-unit-shifter
to the highest degree, and Im just not
into it.
