Beck joins the remix gang on
new remix album Guerolito
It's the season of the remix album, and Beck
is set to release Guerolito, his own remix
version of Guero. That album was released earlier
this year and eventually went on to gold status.
Now
Beck has joined with artists like Boards
of Canada, Air, John King of the
Dust Brothers, Adrock of the Beastie
Boys, and Mario C (among others) to remix
tracks from Guero and release them as a compilation.
Cover artist Marcel Dzama of Royal Art Lodge
has even been asked to remix his original artwork
for the new release.
