Festival 2006: Early Confirmations
San Francisco's Noise Pop Music Festival
has announced some early confirmations
for this year's festival, set to take
place at the end of March. Noise Pop
is SF's festival de riguer, with great
bands like Apples In Stereo, The Fastbacks,
and Guided By Voices showing up throughout
it's 13 year history.
And this year is already looking to keep
its title of "awesomest" with
early confirmations on Four Tet's Kieran
Hebden (w/ Steve Reid), Feist, and Rogue
Wave, among others. There's also their
film festival and educational series.
Details are minimal now, but festival
organizers are promising more bands and
a few "tricks up their sleeve."
They've also launched the now standard
MySpace page.
