Massive Attack
Confirmed for Coachella Festival Massive Attack have been added
to the list of confirmed acts for this
year's Coachella music festival.
They've been added to the growing list
of bands — most recent inclusions
are Daft Punk, Eagles of Death Metal,
and Ted Leo/Pharmacists.
This will be Massive
Attack's first stateside appearance
in eight years. The band is not releasing
their upcoming album Weather Underground
until early 2007, but will be releasing
a best of set of songs in March titled
Collected.
The band has been
working with Neil Davidge of TV on the
Radio for Weather Underground,
so maybe they can collectively unleash
some of the new music on unsuspecting
desert nomads in the Coachella summer
heat.
