Mice Parade have started a month-long
tour that will take them across parts
of the U.S., Canada, and Japan. They're
playing some of their dates with new Fatcat
Records labelmate Tom Brosseau
as opening act.
The big open-ended question seems to
be if there's new Mice Parade material
coming out in 2006. The band most recently
released Bem-Vinda Vontade in early
Summer of 2005, but this tour seems rather
odd timing to be in support of that. Maybe
the band wants to road-test some new material
before comitting to a recording
a quick check of the band's pages at both
Fatcat Records and Bubble Core Records
web sites offers no insight on this, but
both mention the tour.
Brosseua was signed to Fatcat
after his 2005 Loveless Records release
What I Mean To Say Is Goodbye.
Brosseua will be releasing his
new album Empty Houses Are Lonely
on Fatcat on March 13th.
