Genghis Tron Announce Tracklist, Tour Dates

Grindcore electro outfit Genghis Tron have announced tour dates in support of their upcoming release, Dead Mountain Mouth - an album that's due out on June 6th of this year. That's right... JUNE 6th. For those not paying attention that would be a date of 06.06.06. Happenstance coincidence? I DON"T THINK SO.

Dead Mountain Mouth will be released on Crucial Blast, with Love Pump United releasing a vinyl version in July. Guitarist Hamilton Jordan says it will "annihilate our existing repertoire," but they've only released an EP so far...

The tracks were done up in Godcity Studios (strange irony) back in January of this year, with production help from Kurt Ballou (Converge). Crucial Blast is calling the album "more developed and textured" than last year's Cloak of Love.

Genghis Tron will be touring with Akimbo after The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower dropped out due to a severe family emergency. They'll hit the east coast and southeast on their way to the South by Southwest Music Festival, where they'll play the Panache showcase alongside DMBQ and Afrirampo.
