By: Spacelab Research Staff Lollapalooza has announced an initial list of confirmed acts for the 2006 festival in Chicago's Grant Park. There's a wide ranging set of acts, and this year's festival looks to be the biggest and most diverse ever.
There's major names like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Wilco, Death Cab For Cutie, The Flaming Lips, Sonic Youth, and Sleater-Kinney.
This list only includes about half of the number promised, so there's definitely more names to be announced. The list was presented at a press conference at the SXSW Music Festival.
