Radiohead to Escape From the Studio, Preview New Material on Tour
By: Spacelab Research Staff
After being bottled up in the studio for months, and rolling out cryptic updates on the Dead Air Space portion of their web site to show us what they've been doing, Radiohead will finally emerge from the studio late this Spring on Radiohead Day to headline the V Festival and play some European tour dates. If they see their shadow, they might scurry back into the studio, giving us six more weeks of cryptic updates.
If they don't see their shadow, they'll go on to play said dates, and preview what they've been working on. It's amazing how quiet isolation can drive some people mad with anticipation. What are they doing in there? What will the music sound like? More Kid A / Amnesiac / Hail to the Thief, or do we get a new phase of Radiohead?
If you're on the European subcontinent, you'll get a chance to find out in May. Americans lucky enough to have tickets to the Bonnaroo Festival will get their answer on June 17th. Everyone else will just have to deal with a potential download only single due out between now and a potential album release.
