Don't call it a comeback, they've been here for years! Everyone's favorite on again, off again festival has once again survived many challenges to it's existence to roll forward for another year in 2006.

The Detroit Electronic Music Festival, aka Movement, aka Fuse-In, aka the festival with more names than Aphex Twin, has gotten the go ahead from the City of Detroit to proceed. This year's festival will be handled by Paxahau, a Detroit-based group that plans and promotes electronic music in motor city.

They've also recieved a full blessing from DEMF creators Carl Craig, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson.

“As the festival’s 2003 and 2004 producers, we are pleased to see that Paxahau will be taking on the event,” said Derrick May.

The festival is scheduled for May 27th-29th, but lineup, location, and other details are yet to be announced.
