The Noise Pop Music Festival may be over for this year, but Noise Pop organizers are planning a series of ongoing shows and events to keep the party alive for the rest of the year.
Or as festival organizers aptly put it, "Noise Pop is here to stay!"
The first event will be an addition to the San Francisco Film Festival: Harry Smith's film Heaven and Earth Magic with live musical provided by Deerhoof. Harry Smith was the man behind The Anthology Of American Folk Music and also producedan album for The Fugs.
They'll also present two shows at San Francisco's ArtSFest, including performances by Elf Power and Matt Nathanson.
If you can't make it to San Fransisco for these events, you can always listen to the new Noise Pop podcasts, featuring interviews with bands like Xiu Xiu and The Velvet Teen.
