Mission of Burma Announce Tour Dates, Release The Obliterati
By: Spacelab Research Staff
Mission of Burma have announced plans to hit the road to promote its new album, The Obliterati. They'll be playing select dates in the US in July with a stop at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago.
The band plays off-kilter post-punk music, and is fresh back from the jump start they gave the band in 2002 when they came out of retirement to create and release the album ONoffON, which was released in 2004.
The Obliterati was recorded at Q Division Studios in Boston with engineer Bob Weston at the helm. Early buyers will get an additional hi-def DVD of a 2004 show in multiple camera angles, stereo 2.0 and surround sound 5.1. Mmmmmm.... multiple camera angles.
