Jimmy LaValle to Release New Album Leaf Material on Sub Pop This Summer

Jimmy LaValle has been busy putting together a new set of songs, and they'll finally see the light of day on September 12th courtesy of Sub Pop Records. The album is titled Into the Blue Again, and will be released under his project name The Album Leaf. A track list has not been announced yet.
“A lot of traveling and time away from home, learning about yourself while losing yourself, that’s what has gone in to recording for me,” says LaValle. “Following a year-and-a-half of straight touring I took a break from worrying only about where The Album Leaf was going and instead concentrated on the best parts of what it’s been this entire time,” James said on his web site when talking about the upcoming album.
He also remains busy being a full time member or sometimes collaborator of bands like Tristeza, the Locust, GoGoGo Airheart, The Black Heart Procession and Sigur Rós.
