Shara Worden Shines on My Brightest Diamond Project

My Brightest Diamond is a Shara Worden project. She's been playing with Sufjan Stevens while working on her own material, some of which is about to be released on Sufjan's Asthmatic Kitty label. Bring Me The Workhorse represents the more conventional side of Shara, with more of a rock feel, like PJ Harvey doing an opera of songs with Portishead as the backing band. The album will be released on August 22nd.
She also does more formal work as a string quartet/chamber pop thing, and reportedly has an album in the works for that titled A Thousand Shark's Teeth. No word on when or how that's going to be released.
