Wolf Parade Is Back In The Studio, Will Tour With Frog Eyes

Man, the guy likes his bands, you have to give him that. Not getting his fill with the Sunset Rubdown / Frog Eyes tour, Spencer Krug and more of his various bands will go back out on the road for more in August of this year. This time they'll take the form of Wolf Parade / Frog Eyes hydra. and Spencer will of course be playing in both bands while on tour.
Plus they're talking about heading into the studio to work on new material. Spencer Krug recently told Billboard "We're in the middle of building our own studio and I think since we're pouring all this effort into it, we might want to try to produce it ourselves."
Hey... a studio? New album? Maybe the band will be playing new stuff, you know - road tested, audience approved? The jury's out on this. Maybe Wolf Parade just needs to play some shows to connect the chemistry dots as a band again.
