Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin and I think its Polyvinyl Records! The Springfield, Missouri band has officially signed to the Champaign, Illinois label to release its album, Broom, in the US on October 22nd. The album was originally recorded in attic and living room sessions in guitarist Will Knauer's home before a modest local Springfield release. From there, they posted songs on the Internet, and well, we've heard stories like this before...
They're a classic tale of a band lifted by the blogosphere to the heights of fame (OK, just a spot on OC for now), and now they've landed a deal to put their music out to the masses. In the meantime, the band is going to be playing select dates around the US with the Sound Team:
