Portishead have been in the studio working on tracks for an album of new material, said Geoff Barrow on the band's MySpace page. Good news for a band with only a handful of albums, one of them being a live one.
The band has been talking with their label Island Records and appear to be wrapping up the recording process saying "the tracks are in a right mess but sounding like a album for the first time in years."
