Some of the details around the upcoming Hold Steady album were released by PitchforkMedia yesterday, including a track list and release date.
The album, titled Boys and Girls in America, clocks in at 11 songs of neo-Springsteen goodness and will be released on October 3rd on Vagarant Records, the band's new label.
It was recorded at Water Music in Hoboken and mixed at the Magic Shop in New York. The producer was John Agnello.
The Hold Steady have a handful of tour dates scheduled for later this summer including a stop at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 6th.
