By: Spacelab Research Staff French indie pop band Phoenix will start another set of US tour dates today, playing mostly midwestern dates through the first part of August. The band is coming off a recent Coachella appearance and some European dates.
Phoenix create poppy sounding songs with hooks and a french influence, sung in english. Their new album, It's Never Been Like That, was released earlier this year on Astralwerks in Europe and the US.
“This was about starting all over, it was about making ourselves scared again.” said vocalist Thomas Mars, while rehearsing for the tour dates. “It is going to be fun.”
