By: Spacelab Research Staff Sparta will release their new album Threes on October 10th, on Hollywood Records, the band has announced. The band is calling it a further maturation of their sound... as they've walked further down the Sparta path of evolution.
“Bands often talk about each new record as being an evolution, but in our case this album isn’t a step to where we’re going—we’re already there. This album marks our graduation,” said vocalist and guitarist Jim Ward when describing the album's sound.
The album will also feature a short movie titled Eme Nakia.
Sparta will also play a small set of dates this summer, including stops at Lollapalooza in Chicago and the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle.
