The Throwing Muses have reformed — not an official reformation, and there's no word on an album or anything, but the band has scheduled dates in two different countries.
They'll be playing the Innipukinn Festival in Reykjavik, Iceland on August 5, followed by shows in the US. Kristin Hersh's current band, 50 Ft Wave will open for the two US shows. Grant Lee Phillips plays with the band in Seattle and Portland. Then, in September, Kristin and 50 Ft Wave will open up for Mission of Burma for seven dates.
The Throwing Muses line up will consist of Kristin Hersh, David Narcizo and Bernard Georges.
