Massive Attack Returns to The U.S. To Tour In September

Canada too. You can't forget Canada. Massive Attack will return to North America in September and October for a fresh set of shows. They'll play shows in the midwest, and both the east and west coasts, making stops along the way at the Toronto V Festival and Austin City Limits in Texas. It's not a big tour, but it is the first time they're hitting the US and Canada in eight years, save for their Coachella trip earlier this year.
The band is currently in Europe, playing a number shows that stretch through the end of August. They also just played at Japan's two day Summersonic festival.
Massive Attack is touring in support of their upcoming album, Weather Underground, and this year's 'best of' release titled Collected. The boys from Bristol were jetsetting back and forth from the U.K. to New York earlier this year to record new music while working with TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek. Neil Davidge was doing the knob twiddling for the recording sessions.
Weather Underground is expected to be released sometime around February 2007.
