There is life after 16 Horsepower, and David Eugene Edwards is proof of that. His new project, WovenHand, is an earthy subterfuge of dark and light perceptions, with each foot firmly planted on either side of that threshold. Imagine standing in the dark while staring into a light.
The album, titled Mosaic, is due for release on September 12th on Danielson's Sounds Familyre label. It features 12 tracks of experimental folk with banjos, organs, and pianos.
WovenHand will be out on tour this fall supporting Serena-Maneesh as they play a small set of dates in September and October.
