Save The Rogue Wave Drummer Benefit This Weekend in San Francisco
By: Spacelab Research Staff
San Francisco's Rogue Wave will be hosting a benefit show this weekend at The Independent to raise money for their drummer, Pat Spurgeon. He needs a kidney transplant to replace the kidney he recieved in 1993. He's been on dialysis since April and is building up a rather large medial bill, not to mention the upcoming transplant he's working towards.
You can catch all sorts of great music at the show, like Rogue Wave, Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie,) Matthew Caws (Nada Surf,) Ryan Miller (Guster,) John Vanderslice, and other "special guests."
The show is on Saturday, September 30th at the Independent, 628 Divisadero St., San Francisco. The show begins at 9:00 PM.
Can't make the show? You can still make a donation at the Rogue Wave web site at www.roguewavemusic.com.
