Mono Record With Steve Albini, Start European Tour + MP3

Mono have announced a fairly deep tour of Europe in November and December before ending on Decmber 15th. It's seriously aggressive touring, 43 straight dates without one day off.

The band has been getting busy with Steve Albini (in the studio, get your mind out of the gutter) to record tracks for an upcoming release titled Thankful. It will be released as part of the Travels In Constants Series on Temporary Residence Limited on November 21st, unless you live in Japan, and then you get it on November 2nd on Human Highway Records. It features music by Eluvium, Mono, Lazarus and others.

The band has also been busy with two songs for Memorie dal Futuro, which will be released on Cameron Crowe's Vinyl Films on November 1st. It's a 10" vinyl thing for super extra fidelity. It will be released in limited quantities. This project was also recorded with Steve Albini in Chicago at his Electrical Audio Recording studio.
