New Fflam festival announced for 2007

As if they don't have enough to choose from for summer music festivals in the UK... Now you can add one more. Fflam is a new festival that will go down from July 13th-15th at Singleton Park. The festival will focus on on indie, rock, and dance. In a move similiar to some the UK-based festivals, Fflam will promote the local Welsh music scene in addition to bringing in larger European and international acts.

Singleton Park is known for hosting Escape Into The Park, and can accomodate tens of thousands of people. Fflam is expected (READ: hoping) to draw about 30,000 people a day. There will be multiple stages, camping,

Fflam promoter John Curd recently said "Our aim is that Fflam will become to Wales what T in the Park is to Scotland." Gotta like that ambition.

Tickets are available starting December 11th, and no names have been announced yet.
