By: Spacelab Research Staff Bracken: "A collective of like minded individuals spiralling in an uncertain and ill defined orbit," has been signed to Anticon Records for the release of a 12" and full CD. The music is one part experimental, one part indie, and one part Bracken; which is to say it's undefineable and unique in its representation.
The music is put together by Chris Adams, who has worked under the name Hood in the past. It's got parts of electronic, dub, guitar, keyboard, strings, and otherworldly dimension that sets it apart.
There is a 12" floating around right now titled Heathens, which is an elctronic and sample-based song that you can hear on the Bracken MySpace page. The end of January will see the release of a full-length album titled We Know About The Need on Anticon.
