The Shins Release Video For Current TV Project + MP3

The Shins have completed their new video project with Current TV and it's now online. The band embarked on an ambitious effort to get audience members at their September 16th Austin City Limits show to shoot video of the band performing their new song Phantom Limb and then upload it to make a video.
But then it got bigger. They decided to make into a documentary called All Eyes On The Shins, and it features at least one frame from each of the 200 contributors. It was originally broadcast on Current TV on November 14th and can now be seen on the Current TV site at www.current.tv/theshins .
The project is part of a bigger Current TV effort being done by producers Douglas Caballero & Alex Simmons, who have become full time music programmers for Current TV.
