Ultra-experimentalists Oneida have announced a small set of winter shows. They'll be sticking to the northeast part of the US, playing a select group cities like New York and Boston. They'll even playing 2 sets at the 20th anniversary party at the Knitting Factory with Trans Am and Pterodactyl.
They'll also be playing with bands like Mission of Burma, labelmates Parts & Labor, Genghis Tron, depending on location.
Oneida has been busy working in their studio, the Ocropolis, their combination studio / rehearsal space in Brooklyn. They've been working on a film score for the upcoming horror flick Rhyme Animal. They've also been collaborating with the Woods and Trans Am.
Described as "beautiful fur-lined walls, a mysterious pentagram-painted floor, a decommissioned elevator shaft/reverb tank, a rope swing, and the fabulous mysteries of the orient," the Ocropolis is where Oneida get their Oneida on.
