For the legions that worship at the altar of Conor Oberst and the vehicle that is Bright Eyes, there is news. Yes, news of another EP release in the run up to a full length album later in the year. Bright Eyes fans everywhere are literally foaming at the mouth at this very moment.
The EP is called Four Winds and Saddle Creek Records is hailing it as a return to form for Conor saying "Retaining the simmering glow of its predecessors, Four Winds is full of the magic that brought Bright Eyes to international attention."
The songs on the EP are exclusive b-sides from last year's all-out recording sessions with Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott.
The Four Winds EP is slated for a March 6th release, and tour Dates are coming. Cassadaga is the full length album, and is due out on April 10th with appearances from M.Ward, Janet Weiss, and Gillian Welch.
