By: Spacelab Research Staff Under Byen are set to show down on the North American subcontinent for the first time ever, with a whole bunch of March tour dates that include a stop at Austin's South By South west Music Festival. They'll also hit the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh on March 9th.
The music is dark, but ambient-pop at the same time. It tends not to dwell on darkness, just an occasional spacey glance toward the dark mysterious side while meditating over pop rythyms. David Byrne said "The mood is one of beautiful desolation and melancholy." You should listen to what Mr. Byrne says.
Most of the dates will include Swedish dark pop sensation Frida Hyvönen.
