South By Southwest Music Festival Announces 2007 Line Up With More To Come

By: Spacelab Research Staff
Austin's South By Southwest Music Festival has announced its 2007 lineup with the following remark: there's more to come. More to come... More to come... they just announced a lineup of 1329 bands, and there's more to come. Good thing, there really was nothing to go see...

And what a list it is. SXSW is rapidly becoming the fantastic internationalist among music festivals... somebody should do a quick study and see what countrys represent and which ones don't. I'll bet some enterprising music blogger has the time to do that and create a Google map. That's a challenge! Be the first person in your network neighborhood to set it up, and you'll get, well, you'll get the link love of all the other sites that will point to you. You know you want to.

In the meantime, lets focus on the lineup, shall we?

A few intersesting names in no particuliar order: Black Lips, Daedelus, Malajube, Oxford Collapse, Snowden, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Tokyo Police Club, Dosh, Apostle Of Hustle, Frog Eyes, The Good, The Bad, & the Queen, Spoon (local boys make good), Chad VanGaalen, Bloc Party, Blonde Redhead, and Apples In Stereo.

We could go on, and on, and oonnn... but check out the festival overview for the list of 1329. Remember, more will be announced later:
