SIGNED: The Whites Stripes Get With Warner Brothers
By: Spacelab Research Staff
No longer just the word on the street, the White Stripes have indeed signed a multi-million dollar deal with Warner Brothers in the aftermath of the V2 Records collapse. The band will release one album with the label for now.
The White Stripes will of course remain on XL Recordings in the UK as they always have. There's no mention of Jack White's other band, the Raconteurs, who were also on V2, and what their future plans might be.
In other White Stripes hysteria, it was announced that the band will take part in the 2007 Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee.
