Secretly Canadian Secretly Launches New Recording Label

What do you do when own a media empire that plays home to some of the best experimental music in the U.S? For Secretly Canadian and Jagjauwar cartel cohorts Ben Swanson, Chris Swanson, Darius Van Arman, and Jonathan Cargill the answer is simple. Launch one more.
With that in mind, they've announced Dead Oceans. They'll let Phil Waldorf from Misra Records into the club for this one, and in righteous SC/Jag fashion, they've offered up a bunch of MP3's for the world to hear what all of the noise is about.
Dead Oceans starts out with the bands Iran, Evangelicals, Dirty Projectors, and Bishop Allen.
