The UK's wildly popular T In The Park festival announced most of its 2007 lineup recently, which includes acts like The Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, and Damien Rice. The festival goes down on July 6th-8th in Balado.
No sooner did tickets go on sale then they sold out. 40 minutes, to be exact. 40 minutes for 40,000 tickets, a new record. It beats the previous record of 35,000 tickets in 70 minutes. It sounds like T has it goin' on!
"While we thought that the T In The Park tickets would sell out quickly today, we are amazed that it has broken its own record as the fastest selling festival in the UK," said T In The Park official Geoff Ellis via the web site.
