Now it's official... Matador Records has announced a full-on deal with Austin's Shearwater. They've signed with Matador for what they call a "longterm-ish pact" with the band and will start with the release of Palo Santo: Expanded Edition on April 10.
Palo Santo was an album that Shearwater released last year on Misra Records. They've rerecorded some tracks to be repackaged and resold.
They're also playing gigs this Spring with Xiu Xiu:
