By: Spacelab Research Staff David Bazan has signed on with Barsuk Records and will be rereleasing his Fewer Moving Parts EP on May 22nd, with a new full length album to follow sometime in 2008.
The EP will contain two versions of five different tracks — one acoustic and one with full-on, instrument on instrument action, just like it was on its limited release on Jade Tree Records last year.
Recorded in his home studio, with the kind of intricate production and writing he was never able to do in Pedro The Lion. Graphic novelist Zak Sally did the artwork for the release.
Coming from the well respected Jade Tree label, David Bazan has a history that includes last year's Fewer Moving Parts EP and previous releases with Pedro The Lion.
