Ex-Concretes Singer Victoria Bergsman Is Taken By Trees

After last year's meltdown of the Concretes that included cancelling their remaining tour dates and gear theft, ex-lead singer Victoria Bergsman has been busy recording a new solo album.
She's working under the name Taken By Trees for the project, and will include songs like Lost and Found, Tell Me, and Hours Pass Like Centuries. Victoria is currently recording material, and has posted some tracks at the Taken By Trees web site.
The album's title is Open Field will be released in Europe on Rough Trade Records on June 18th. The U.S. release date has yet to be set.
It was co-produced by Victoria and Bjorn Yttling and John Eriksson of Peter, Bjorn and John. Verity Susman of Electrelane also makes an appearance on the album.
