By: Spacelab Research Staff Jose González is set to release his next album this Fall... it's titled In Our Nature and will be the first new full length album since his first album Veneer in 2005. It features appearances by Erik Bodin on percussion and Yukimi Nagamo on backing vocals.
The album will see Jose maturing as a songwriter, using elements of dark dark symbolism to bring his vision of music to light. "I like playing with symbolism," says González. "On this album I’ve wanted to bring out the primitive aspects of human beings."
He's currently touring through South America before heading off to Europe, Turkey, and Japan to play a range of festivals. He'll come back to hit a bunch of dates in the U.S. this Fall.
In Our Nature will be released on September 25th via Mute Records.
