You know it's getting to be summer tour season when bands release tour schedules that are as long as a Robert Pollard discography. Shapes And Sizes are out right now supporting their soon to be released album Split Lips, Winning Hips, A Shiner. The album is due out on July 11th on Asthmatic Kitty Records.

Shapes and Sizes is a largely experimental band, using indie rock foundations to experiment with sound and structure. They're touring with The National and They Shoot Horses Don't They, so it should be an interesting show wherever you see them:
