By: Spacelab Research Staff Moby has signed an exclusive deal with Mute Records, that will give him worldwide distribution. He was already on Mute UK previous to this, but after the V2 meltdown and reformation earlier this year, Moby was left labeless in the US.
"I've been on Mute everywhere in the world except for North America for the last 14 years, now I'm finally on Mute for North America," says Moby. "I'm happy, because Mute has been my favorite label for most of the last 25 years, and it's nice to finally be on Mute in the country where I actually live."
Moby's in the studio right now, working on the follow up to 2005's release Homeless. There's no word on when it will be finished or released, but if you live in Italy, you can go see him at one of these shows and ask him yourself:
