Stars Releasing their 4th Album:
In Our Bedroom After The War

By: Christy Mannering
Preparing for the Summer months music lovers kept saying it would be the ultimate Summer for music. On September 25th, Stars will be releasing a new album "In Our Bedroom After The War," via the Arts&Crafts label. This, along with other upcoming albums, has me foreseeing a pretty intense competition between two seasons. With the Stars on the side of Fall, things could get wild.

In Our Bedroom After the War will be Stars fourth full length album. It follows their 2005 release of Set Yourself on Fire, which ended up being such a success; the band has been touring for two years on an international level. Their third album also made it into Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Albums of the year. “Stars” have set pretty high standards for themselves so it will be interesting to see if In Our Bedroom After the War can keep up with the pace.

Stars will be touring North America and Europe throughout the fall to promote the upcoming album. Their first stop will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 6th, after which they will travel back into Canada, for an Ontario and Toronto show, through the 9th. Other dates have not yet been announced.
