This is a particuliarly exciting release ... upbeat, poptimistic, and great listening.
Thao Ngyuen gets her shot at creating soundtracks for the real world, as she once fantasized about creating soundtracks for the shows she saw on TV (which we've heard she used to do a lot--watch TV, that is).
"I was really into Party of Five. I remember Sarah McLaughlin was playing in the background on one episode. From then on, I kinda always wanted to be on the soundtrack."
The album is titled We Brave Be Stings And All and comes out on Kill Rock Stars on January 29.
