By: Spacelab Research Staff Gold Standard Laboratories might have closed its doors, but The Mars Volta will be out and about in the U.S. in January to promote their upcoming release of The Bedlam In Goliath on January 28th. The band almost cancelled the release date because of a Ouija board.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala claim that a Ouija board they bought in Jerusalem brought with it a curse, and spoke to Billboard about studio floods, destroyed equipment, lost digital recordings, and locust plagues. OK, I made up that last part about locusts, but you get the idea.
