Producer Nigel Godrich's (Radiohead) independently produced show, From The Basement, has announced its upcoming guests and the list includes names like Sonic Youth, Jose Gonzales, PJ Harvey, Autolux, and Super Furry Animals.

From The Basement comes out of the BBC's Maida Vale Studios in London. The show features live performances of artists performing in the Maida Vale studio. There's a concentrated effort here to focus on the performance... like the fact that there's no host. It's just the performance(s) on each episode. They're also scoring high on the production value scale with the use of high-definition film and ananlogue sound recording.
