Sit down people, because this is big. What could be better than seeing the New Pornographers live? Seeing them on tour with Okkervil River! A combination like this doesn’t come along often.

These dates are the end of a long tour Okkervil River started earlier this year. The band has been flying internationally, making stops in Belgium, Australia, France and the Netherlands. They’ll fly into the U.S. and start performing on April 5th in Texas before heading to Ontario to join the New Pornographers. The New Pornographers have recently been nominated in the “Favorite Group or Duo" category in the Canadian Independent Music Awards so I stop in Ontario shouldn’t be a surprise.

They’ll remain a team of singing travelers through April 22nd where they will finish things off in Cleveland, Ohio at Beachland Ballroom. One of the most exciting shows could be considered their concert at Carnegie Music Hall in Pennsylvania on April 12th so if you can swing tickets for that date then you definitely should.
