Botticellis Are California Dreamin' on Antenna Farm Records

By: Spacelab Research Staff

The cold weather shakedown that's wrapped around America right now makes this the perfect time to talk about the Botticellis. Employing the sounds of 60's and 70's California, sun-soaked pop, the band has just signed to San Francisco's Antenna Farm Records for the release of their debut album, Old Home Movies.

“Botticelli means ‘little barrel,’ a surf term Zack and I started using as kids for our favorite California wave. When you’re inside a wave like that, you really understand the 60’s surf sound. I guess the feel of Old
Home Movies is a bit of an homage to Greenough Vision,” said lead vocalist Alexi Glickman.

Old Home Movies will be released on May 13th on Antenna Farm Records.
