If you like The Verve, and you want to see them play live in the U.S. this summer, you'd better like road trips. The band has just announced some new dates for the summer of 2008, albeit a scant few shows.
They've added 2 New York shows and one Las Vegas show to take advantage of their time stateside for their recently announced Coachella appearance.
No word yet on whether they've resolved their issues with EMI on the release of the new album yet. Speaking with Billboard, Parlophone's Miles Leonard said that the band was "writing only" right now, without any confirmation of a solid release agreement or date.
"This is a very special band, with four incredibly talented people," Summers says. "They made three great albums before. And they're going to make another great album now. There's a bit of magic when the four of them come together."
