Hardly Art again! This time they've signed the Pica Beats, a quaint but interesting band from Seattle with an affinity for the sitar and the know how to play it well. Combine the sitar with a pop song and throw in the occasional oboe or horn and you get some good time internationalist sounds.

The Pica Beats ascended from he basement four years as a glimmer in Ryan Barret's eye and eventually became a five piece band with diverse influences. You won't hear anything elese like the Pica Beats, I can gauarantee you that.

Hardly Art will release their new album Beating Back the Claws of the Cold later this year.
